These advertisements appeared around 1985 and inspired me to do a camping trip by air.
OK, Denmark is not really like the Canadian Outback and the Ruschmeyer is not a De Havilland Beaver floatplane, but I look a lot better than this guy. Hmmm, maybe.
Anyway, after two previous attempts at creating the Camel Man experience, my son Michael and I fired up the ol' six-cylinder and buzzed off into the wilderness of the German and Danish coast.
